TROUBLE walking in some of your heels?

Do you have trouble walking in some of your heels? Have you found that some of your shoes feel a little high? Do your heels feel wobbly? Is your footing unsure? Maybe your heels are a little too HIGH!

I have worn heels since my graduation from grammar school - many, many, many years. I feel more comfortable in heels than flats. I put my heels on in the morning and keep them on until bedtime. I love my shoes. However, I recently bought shoes that I thought were too high.

So, I took them to my favorite shoe repair shop to see if the height of the heels could be altered. Of course, the problem could be fixed. The shoe repair man looked at the shoes and decided how much of the heel could be cut off to make the shoes more comfortable for me to wear without affecting the look of the shoe.

Well, I have to say, I was EXTREMELY happy when I got my shoes back. The shoes were more comfortable and steady to walk in. If you ever feel like you are teetering on the edge, take your shoes to your neighborhood shoe repair shop for the proper adjustment!

Early Voting

Today I stood in line for over an hour to cast my vote. I was so disappointed that I didn't bring my camera with me to take pictures of the different shoes. I hate to admit that I only spotted 3 pair of heels.

The weather in Chicago was COLD! However, there were lots of sandals. In fact, some of the sandaled feet didn't have on socks. Most had on socks, but as cold as I was, I truly didn't understand the barefoot fashion statement.

Marshalls' "LOVE AFFAIR OF THE SOLE" Campaign on Brickfish

As I was researching the internet for something (not sure at the moment) related to shoes. (Most of my internet research time is spent looking for things related to shoes.) I came across the Marshalls' Campaign with Brickfish for Shoe Lovers.

The first time I created my entry the picture representing me and my blog entry was a computer generated entry. Soooooo, I tried again. This time I got the picture right, but the submission was wrong - a picture entry instead of a blog entry.

Well, today, I am going to try again and get it right - A blog entry. But in the mean time, if you happen to read this posting before the contest is over, please feel free to VOTE right here! THANKS!
